UK: Nottingham

Autumn 2005: with car from Liverpool, Jurys Inn Nottingham

The journey from Liverpool to Nottingham was very interesting. We had to cross some mountains and the landscape up there looked very similar to Norway!

Jurys Inn Nottingahm was newly opened and, of course, everything was new. Although this is a 3-star hotel it looked and felt like a 4-star. The receptionists were very friendly and the breakfast was very nice. There was a nice bar outside the reception-area.

If you want to, you can go shopping all day in Nottingham! :) You can also take a walk to the ice-hall and borrow a pair of skaters (?). If you're interested in Robbin Hood Nottingham is the city for you. You can walk to the fort or you can rent a car, or take the bus, to Nottingham Forest. It was nice to take a walk in the forest.
