Beginning of June 1994: Last-minute charter, Star Tour

The name tells everything! :) I have heard Bulgaria has changed a lot since we went there, but still, I don't want to go back. You should be aware of a place where the alcohol is cheaper than the mineral wather! :)

Watch out for the telephone boxes (I don't know the English word, I even don't know if those small houses still exist)! (Thank God we all have cell-phones these days!) Who else than ME managed to fall out of the "box"? Yeh, you read it... We tried to call home, the lines were not very good, T said he wanted to try and I stepped one step back and TRIED to lend myself to the wall to get some more space. T got lots of space after I had fallen out, landing with the back of my head at the pavement and my dress over my head. (I think I have to explain this a little further... I fell out because I thought there should be GLASS at the window, but, as I realised, there was none...) Of course there was a big restaurant there. I was the free evening entertainment for the guests that night! I managed to get back to the hotel, but I don't remember how. When I woke up the day after I was dizzy and had problems with walking straight. We had a little discussion whether we should call for a doctor or not and decided to wait some hours to see if the dizziness would go away. It did and we could continue the holiday with only a small headache left! :)
