Denmark: Copenhagen

Been here lots of times, both business and pleasure. Have staied at the following hotels:

Grand
Phoenix
Christian V
Neptun
Excelsior
Imperial
First hotel Vesterbro
Hotel City

All the hotels are very close to the city center, but the hotels I found to be very nice was First hotel Vesterbro, Neptun and Hotel City. I am not sure why, but I think it was because of the very nice breakfast at those hotels. For me, staying at hotels is a nice reception area, a clean room and a delicious breakfast. Even when I am travelling for business, I like to take the time to eat, read a magazine and have a nice cup of coffee.

I love Copenhagen for both dining and shopping. You get everything in Copenhagen, the small secondhandshops (not my favorites...), the designer-shops and the big department-shops. Copenhagen in December is really nice, but cold. Remember to have enough warm clothes!
